Message from the Chief

Welcome to the web page for the Madrid Police Department. This site was developed to provide citizens of Madrid an opportunity to become familiar with their police department and to be informed of current or up-coming projects that the police deparment is involved in. In addition to using this page for the police to let citizens know what is going on, it can also be used to let citizens tell police what is going on. A "contact" link has been added as an additional source for contact for residents of Madrid. This link can be used to make suggestions on how we can improve our service to the community, ask questions, make complaints, or even as an anonymous "tip" line to direct police to illegal activity. It's there so we can hear from you, so feel free to use it.

The Madrid Police Department motto is "Dedicated to Serve.. Sworn to Protect". The emphasis of the motto is serve. It is the goal of this department to be an integral part of contributing to the "quality of life" of Madrid residents. Sometimes that means issuing citations for traffic law violations and making arrests. But most of the time it means helping or assisting residents in any way we can.
